Having Technical Difficulties?

We hope you won't experience any technical issues when using Education Express. But in case you do, here are a few things you can try to do resolve them:

  1. Restart the Web Browser:
    If you're seeing strange behavior on the site, the simplest thing to try is shutting your web browser down, restarting it, and logging into the site again. For example: if you've just taken a test and didn't receive a passing grade, and it won't let you take the test again, restarting the browser and logging in again may clear things up for you.
  2. Try a Different Web Browser:
    While we have designed Education Express to be compatible with all major web browsers, the programmers for each browser make regular updates that may or may not affect the performance of online software. So, for instance, if you normally use the Firefox browser, then you might try using Google Chrome, Safari, or Microsoft Internet Explorer instead, and see which one gives you the best results.
  3. Make Sure Cookies Are Enabled:
    Education Express relies on web browser "cookies" to remember who you are after you've logged into the site. But your web browser may have cookies fully or partially restricted for privacy purposes. So to avoid any issues, it's important that cookies be fully enabled for the domain "aboutlightingcontrols.org". If you're not sure how to do this, please consult the help documentation for your browser or search Google for "how to enable cookies" for your browser. After making any changes to your cookie settings, you'll also want to shut your web browser down completely and restart it, before trying to log into Education Express. You may even find that you need to reboot your computer.
  4. Try Clearing Your Web Cache:
    If the above suggestions don't help, you may need to clear the cache on your web browser. This will allow the browser to forget previous site/browser behavior that could be getting in the way of proper functioning. If you're not sure how to do this, please consult the help documentation for your browser or search Google for "how to clear my web cache" for your browser. After clearing the cache, you'll also want to shut your web browser down completely and restart it before trying to log into Education Express. You may even find that you need to reboot your computer.
